Actually I was alone and it was that or 27 different football channels.
Hmmm, didn't do my macho any favours with that post did I?

Re: Movies - what you seen and was it any good?
It has certain scenic advantages...similar to in women's beach volleyball. Don't you like the idea of a bunch of women shoulder-charging each other (a bit like in Tesco at the whitening cream display).
Women's gymnastics would also be good to watch if the contesants were older than 10.

Re: Movies - what you seen and was it any good?
Not sure if this has been on the thread already, but just watched 'The Orphanage' - a Spanish horror movie directed by the same guy who did 'Pan's Labrinyth'.
Family move into an old orphanage, their little boy starts playing with invisible friends, then suddenly goes missing. Increasinly mentally fragle mother goes looking for him.
Sounds like your average horror movie, but it was done really well. Very creepy and atmospheric. 8/10

Re: Movies - what you seen and was it any good?
I've heard that's good. It's not the Pan's Labyrinth guy though. He was probably busy making Hellboy 2 while this was being knocked up
Actually, Del Toro was apparently the producer so he did have a hand in it. So I'll just be quiet now...

Ish...I think the story was too busy and the film could have been made into 2 or 3 parts....kind of glad it's all packed into one though...faults and all.

Re: Movies - what you seen and was it any good?
Just saw, 'Mamma Mia' at the movies. It was a really fun show to watch. A musical set on a greek Island, with Jessica Lang, and Pierce Brosnan. Funny as heck. A real chic flick!

^Ah yes, that's right. I get them mixed up all the time. Have you seen it kk? It is definitely very entertaining.
I couldn't stop singing Abba songs, with the movie.

^ Yeah there's quite a few actors/actresses I mess up on a regular basis!
I will get it and I'm sure I'll enjoy it as (and please keep this to yourself) I'm a massive Abba fan....Dancing Queen is my fave!!!
Still not watched Hairspray yet!!! Used to love the old musicals when I was a kid!!!

It is from what I've read of The Orphanage's synopsis.
Orphanage - Check
Ghosts - Check
Spaniards including mini spaniards speaking Spanish - Check
Spanish Civil War setting - What's the opposite of 'Check'?
I'm never, ever, ever going to watch Mamma Mia.
