I rated Crank though and I think Statham actually nailed down exactly what he needed to do. I've got time for Statham actually, he's likeable enough and he looks convincing when he's pummelling someone's head in. I think I read that he learned a lot from Jet Li when they worked together. Not a bad teacher to have with regards to looking authentic at twatting people.

I didn't mind The Transporter. 50% of that may have just been Qi Shu though.

Re: Movies - what you seen and was it any good?
I saw the film The Queen, last night...about the relationship between the Queen of England and Tony Blair, and the surrounding events of Princess Diana's death. I nodded off a few times during the film, as I was rather full and watched after dinner, so I didn't catch all of the storyline.
Any thoughts from the Brits on this film? It seems it was created on a rather low budget and didn't really seem to show the kind of living quarters Tony Blair lived in, for example. His place was actually rather shabby and small in the film.

Re: Movies - what you seen and was it any good?
I didn't get very far with this one either, a bit boring really. Perhaps it was the subject matter rather than the filum itself that put me off.

Re: Movies - what you seen and was it any good?
^ It was a bit anticlimactic. However, I lost the jist of the final conversation between Blair and the Queen right before the credits rolled because I had nodded in and out of sleep.
Seems they were discussing the advantages and disadvantages of getting rid of the whole royal family thing in England altogether.
