Yep mate....Monster Quest is a bit of a joke...but makes for light telly in between well good shit.

Oh and Mole season 5 started....I remember 'we' spoke about it before somewhere in here (or in this 'room').

This is a fantastic series indeed. I've only watched the first season. In one ep he takes his wife and they go for 30 days working jobs for minimum wage to see how difficult it is to get by. They don't. He injures himself and goes to the hospital and the bill is so high that he can't afford it on a minimum wage salary.

In another ep this guy goes to an eco friendly community because he's a huge polluter of the earth. Halfway through he's dying for some meat so he takes a rifle and goes out back to hunt rabbits....loved it.

Lots of preair shows about at the moment:

True Blood....looks good, first episode was good!

Fringe....the new JJ series (I think).....looks like it could be a winner.

Also watched the first three of In Plain Sight.....I think it's wicked!!!

Pretty good first episode. Kind of an X-Files and Numbers hybrid. Too bad the kid from Dawson's Creek is in it.

Yeah, I kind of like it too. Guilty Pleasure.

A couple of other new series that I've downloaded...

Life on Mars--A detective somehow gets time traveled' back to the 70s
Pretty/Handsome--A male gynecologist wants to be a woman--great cast.
Fear Itself--Horror shorts. Episodes are not related to one another. The first two were pretty good. Haven't watched the third yet.
Raising The Bar--A legal drama with the kid from Saved By The Bell. Haven't watched it yet.

^ I saw the Yanks had made Life on Mars...I might watch it as I'm not a big Brit telly fan.

Fear Itself I've enjoyed....not a bad little show (third one is quite good actually).

Watched the first episode of Middleman....was wicked...bit like Eureka/The Chronicle.

Also watched Wipeout....pretty damn good actually, funny with it (IMO).

Leverage seemed good as well (only watched the first half though).

    Re: TV download recommendations

^ I hate the fact they show what'll be on the upcoming episode...I close my eyes when they do that (I think they used to do it for the A Team as well didn't they?).

    Sorry not hate....dislike...a lot!!!
