Re: Movie/TV download recommendations
It's got a good concept....a cop was put inside for 12 years...but later found to be innocent....so he's all mental as they kicked the fuck out of him in nick (broke almost every bone in his body)....his wife is married to someone else as well. He's reinstated with a young (fit) partner (lovely tits) who is on the police shit list....initially she thinks he's a bit mental (he is) but by the end of the first epeisode she's warming to him. So he'll solve cases week to week with his 'prison' skillZ....but he's also researching who set him up (which will be the long term 'hook' if they don't cancel it (they seem to cancel all of the good ones).
Really good mate....I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Also a big fan of Raines with Jeff Goldbum in........well worth getting it is!
You done Dexter mate? That's a fucking wicked show mate! Wicked!!! Wicked wicked wicked even!

Re: Movie/TV download recommendations
The IT Crowd is good if anyone is looking for an I.T based comedy (You're prolly not).
Starts out being I.T based and then sorta decends into a modern Nerd character based comedy.

It focuses on the shenanigans of the three-strong IT support team located in a dingy, untidy and unkempt basement - a stark contrast to the shining modern architecture and stunning London views enjoyed by the rest of the organisation.
Moss and Roy, the two technicians, are portrayed as socially inept geeks or "standard nerds". Despite the company's utter dependence on their services, they are despised by the rest of the staff. Roy's exasperation is reflected in his support techniques of ignoring the phone in the hope it will stop ringing, and using reel-to-reel tape recordings of stock IT suggestions ("Have you tried turning it off and on again?" and "Are you sure it's plugged in?"). Moss's wide and intricate knowledge of all things technical is reflected in his extremely accurate yet utterly indecipherable suggestions, while demonstrating a complete inability to deal with practical problems like extinguishing fires and removing spiders, as well as his being socially inept.
Jen, the newest member of the team, is hopelessly non-technical, despite claiming on her CV that she has "a lot of experience with computers". As Denholm, the company boss, is equally tech-illiterate, he's convinced by Jen's interview bluffing and appoints her head of the IT department. Her official title is "relationship manager", yet her attempts at bridging the gulf between the technicians and the business generally have the opposite effect, landing Jen in situations just as ludicrous as those of her team-mates.

Re: Movie/TV download recommendations
Lots of great shows. KK, it sounds like we have very similar tastes. Basically I like dang near everything. Here are just a few I've enjoyed:
The OC, The Shield, The Wire, Prison Break, The 4400, Supernatural, Medium, K-Ville, Lost, 24, One Tree Hill, Tudors, Burn Notice, Eureka, Shark, Cold Case, All CSI, Las Vegas, Greek, Kyle XY, Heroes, Jericho, The Nine.....
A Few Great Ones I Haven't Seen Mentioned:
Friday Night Lights, The Unit, Weeds, Mad Men, Intelligence, Spooks, My Name is Earl, Battlestar Galactica, Hustle, Wire in the Blood
A Few Recently Cancelled:
Traveler, The Black Donnellys, John From Cincinnati, Drive, Studio 60
A Brilliant Few From the Archive Vaults:
Over There, Carnivale, Deadwood, The Corner, Sopranos, Oz, Rome
A Few I haven't Checked out Yet:
Bionic Woman, Journeyman, Sarah Connor, Sea Patrol, Nip/Tuck, Smallville
Honorable mention goes to Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations
Televesion these days is pretty darn good.

Re: Movie/TV download recommendations
i get a lot of irish tv shows from a user on demonoid. it's great to have an outlet like that.
also got a new show called Human Weapon about 2 lads who go around the world learning fighting techniques. the last one was MMA and had Bas Rutten and Randy Couture on there which was pretty cool -- http://www.eztvefnet.org/index.php
