just finished watching The Shield season 5. great show!
I'm thoroughly enjoying Studio 60...and would highly recommend it!!!
Riddle me this brother can you handle it
Your style to my style you can't hold a candle to it

^ I'm 'saving' up Heroes (even for me) mate....got too many shows I'm watching and it all gets a bit confusing sometimes....same with Prison Break 3.
Basically Studio 60 is about a sort of Saturday Night Live show in the States and the people running it, working on it etc. Very good (to me anyway) insight into a telly comedy show...got Chandler in, but he's good in it and Amanda Peet is fit. Really good show mate...bit of drama, nice comedy....very good overall, albeit not super fast paced (but then you've got your CSI's etc. for that).
Watched Chuck or Pushing Daisies yet? Both very good new shows IMO! And Reaper isn't bad either.
not yet. i'm sticking to tried and trusted tv these days....curb your enthusiasm, californication, simpsons.Originally Posted by kenkannif

I'd 100% recommend Pushing Daisies mate....although I do 'hear' you in regards to waiting for the full series (and nothing worse than loving a show only for it to be cancelled).
i got this show Banged up Abroad about brits in foreign prison.
also got Ross Kemps show about gangs
both from UK Nova
Diary of a Call Girl (or maybe it's Secrey Diary) with Billie Piper.
Women's Murder Club.....not bad....based on James Patterson's books.
Aliens in America....quite funny.
Kidnation...kids in charge of a town!
the Banged up Abroad documentary was quite good actually. I hope they do one on Thailand soon
They did do one on thailand - it was the 2nd episode of season 1. There are 4 episodes in the first season.

Peep Show! Hilarious! If you liked Black Books I highly recommend it.
Studio 60 is brilliant. Created by Aaron Sorkin - who also did The West Wing
"Intelligence".
A Canadian organized crime/police show set in Vancouver, B.C. This is my top recommendation of the month. It is into its second season now. Pick up yer episodes at Demonoid. More info from imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0845746/
I was just going to recommend Intelligence. It doe suffer from CBC syndrome. (gotta make sure you hit all those quotas. Minority woman as the protagonist. Evil white males plotting her downfall [unless they're gay]. Meddling Americans...) but it's a good series with a lot of depth.
The Shield is pure awesomeness.
Supernatural is good, dumb horror cliche fun.
Connections and The Day the Universe Changed with James Burke are also quality,.
"Mad Men"
Dramatic series about a Madison Avenue Advertising firm in the 1950's. Very well done - it grows on you in it's sophisticated and subtly dark way. From one of the writer/producer's of Sopranos. "Mad Men" (2007)
