Re: TV download recommendations
Saw Sanctuary as well. e1 and e2 are reworked and rewritten webisodes e1 to e4. I liked it but I can't recommend it at this point (I should like it considering the main characters and the support, think BSG, SG1 and SGA), yeah I need one of those thingies --->
watching BSG season 1,2,3, miniseries and Razor again.

Re: TV download recommendations
My suggestions:
South Park
Family Guy

(new episodes of both just started recently)
Penn & Teller's Bullshit!

(new season ended recently...great show kinda like Michael Moore's The Awful Truth, but better/funnier with cursing & nudity)
Trailer Park Boys
(the best show about low-life's who live in a trailer park in Eastern Canada)
And South Park meets Trailer Park Boys!

(only kidding! saw this pic on google images and got a laugh!)

Re: TV download recommendations
Watched the new South Park this evening. Not bad. Not great. I liked the stick they gave to Lucas and Spielberg for what they did to Indiana Jones. I won't elaborate on it too much but it is pretty funny.
For fans of The Wire: http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/1...er?tab=summary

The miniseries was critically acclaimed and won several Emmy Awards in 2000, including that for best miniseries. Charles S. Dutton won for his direction of the mini series. David Mills and David Simon won Emmys for their writing. The Corner was also nominated for Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special.

I am fucking delighted to have found that. I'm not sure how I failed so many times before when the torrents been available for so long.

Re: TV download recommendations
Caught up with True Blood....EXCELLENT!!! A bit hard work for me as I'm used to the CHEESE...but well worth it....Anne Paquin (sp?) got her boobies out as well! CLASS!!!
Enjoying Sons of Anarchy!
Kath and Kim (or is it Kate and Kim?) based on an English comedy show....it's okay.
My Own Worst Enemy....got slated review wise I think (and not many people watched it from what I can gather) but I enjoyed it....bloke with two 'personalities' in his head....good!!!
The Eleventh Hour.....Rufus Sewell as a Prof who is well clever and called in when weird shit happens....plus he's a bit mentalish....not bad at all actually.

Excellent. Will immediately stop downloading BBC's "Power of the Planet" and download this one straightaway. It's from the same guy who did "American Beauty" and "Six Feet Under".

Re: TV download recommendations
^Aye it is a bit difficult to get into it after the first season. However, 6 Feet Under has the best pilot and finale of any show I've EVER seen. The last 5 minutes of the finale were just amazing.

Re: TV download recommendations
Just watched the latest ep of The Shield, season 7. God damn, this is an awesome series. The way they're ratcheting up the tension puts the lame ass series wrap ups of thing like The Sopranos to shame.

Re: TV download recommendations
I thought the final few episodes of The Sopranos were mint. I actually loved the last scene. The Shield's last season has been very good though. To be fair, they've all been good. As consistently good a show as there's ever been really.
I'm watching the third season of Friday Night Lights. I'm unrepentantly gay for Friday Night Lights.

Re: TV download recommendations
Breaking Bad
Bryan Cranston plays a high school chemistry teacher who is going through a mid-life crisis. When it's discovered that he has lung cancer, he turns his talents to crime and, with the help of a former student of his, starts his own meth lab, where he makes some of the purest crystals the drug community has ever seen.
This show.....is flawless. One of the best I've ever seen. The pacing here is great - in one scene he'll be cooking up some crystal meth in the back of a trailer out in the desert, and in the next he'll be attending a PTA meeting. All the characters compliment each other quite well, and the acting is top-notch, especially from Cranston. Unfortunately there are only 7 episodes in the first season because of the writer's strike, but season 2 is coming soon. Highly recommended.

It isn't flawless. The writing isn't that great. I stopped watching after five or so episodes. Not a conscious decision but I've not felt compelled to go back to it. I just keep remembering the scene with his kid in the store and thinking it was weak and obvious and that if they kept that scene in it didn't really bode well for the rest of the season.

Re: TV download recommendations
The Shield is building up quite superbly now. amazing that it hasn't run out of steam yet
Mad Men is also racking up the brownies with an ever-so-slowly built up expose of the true story behind the big man

Re: TV download recommendations
I agree with so much on this page.
Family Guy is fantastic. Haven't seen a new episode in about a year or two, but I'm looking forward to it.
Six Feet Under was one of my favorite shows, even though it seemed to get a bit lost in penultimate season.
This year on The Shield is one of the best. Too bad it's the last.
I really enjoyed Breaking Bad last year. I hope it comes back.
I've downloaded the first few episodes of True Blood, but haven't watched them yet.
Mad Men might just be the best program on US television these days; the beginning of season 2 was a bit slow, but I like where it's going.
Currently I'm watching Mad Men, Deadwood, Californication, Dirty, Sexy Money, and Entourage.

I get a few TV docos from myTVblog.org : Your ultimate TV destination...
Downloaded "Up the Yangtze" - good doc about the damming of the Yangtze and also charts the life of a couple of Chinese teens and the upheavals they're facing. Made me realise how lucky we are compared to many out there. Up the Yangtze | myTVblog.org : Your ultimate TV destination...
