Re: Movies That Made You Cry
The idea of forrest gump made me wanna cry, so I never saw it.
Couple episodes of Cold Case have had me in tears, its the music or more specifically songs from an era.
Right now anything emotional about kids or father figures has me gushing.

The Elephant Man - sorry but there were quite a few emotional scenes so I can't pick just one out.

when he starts pulling out HAL's memory in "2001: A Space Odyssey" and HAL sings, more slowly and slowly, and deeper and deeper, "mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy."

Re: Movies That Made You Cry
Gosh, I gotta give it to you guys on Big Fish. Beat me to that one. I hardly cry during a movie, but I am one friggin' sad sack at several moments during that movie. Notably the scene you guys mention but also other parts such as when the wife joins him in the tub and tells him "she'll never dry out". That part gets me going as well.
Good movie.

The explanation soliloquy by Harry Dean Stanton in the end of Paris Texas.
King Kong's final moments in any of the versions.
