Sorry, that should read, Super High Me.
This is my first ever movie review. I'll do the best I can.
Jesse: Not bad is you like long dramatic scenes with Italian style character cinematography, but without the closeups down to the skin pores.
It has Aflack's little bro in it. He's pretty good but a real whiney voice. Pitt was good, he fit the part pretty well, I mean he is from Oklahoma.
Lots of nice Mid-West countryside shots, Winter and Fall.
The women in the movie were almost extras and couldn't act for shit.
All in all it was too long at times. The theme, Robert Ford the dirty little coward who shot Mr. Howard, is a short story for a good reason.
Jesse was different in this one, crazier and twisted and paranoid. Pitt does that stuff pretty well.
Super High Me: I liked this one. A comedian coins a one-liner for his stand up, it's the title .. "Super Size Me was about the effects of junk food, how about Super High Me, all about smoking pot all day long for 30 days?" A movie script writer was in the audience, heard the joke and decided it would be a good film with the comedian as the star. It's a documentary.
First he goes 30 days without smoking so his mental and physical monitoring can get done and used as a comparison to his 30 days of heavy smoking. He's monitored about once a week. (these being my favorite scenes in the film)
Also included is a few takes to represent the struggle the legal pot dispensaries have with the DEA in California. If you see the film don't miss the DEA protest .. how civil it is.
It's interesting as it includes a lot of scientific ditties mixed in with the humour.
But listen up! If you're irked by California talk with all those awesomes, likes, and dudes, coming at ya every 10 seconds, just pass on it, it's all there.
