I don't watch cartoons anymore. I used to watch La Linea and WB cartoons. Familly Guy, Simpsons, Futurama, etc.... not my style. Don't watch anime.
I absolutely *heart* Spongebob Squarepants. It took me a while to work out that they were all underwater though, which did increase the trippiness factor.
Absolutely love Spongebob Squarepants. My favorite is Tom and Jerry, and Loony Toons.

I watch a few cartoons with my kid...Batman: The Brave and the Bold....is wicked!!! They team Batman up with a relatively unknown different superhero every week...really good producion values.
I also watch Ben 10: Alien Force...it's okay!
And Wolverine and the X Men....pretty good as well!!!
Recently downloaded all of the Captain Caveman cartoons....stands..ish the test of time IMO!!!

Bugs Bunny and Loony Toons from the 40s and 50s. Still hilarious.
Yeah, he's aces. Princess Mononoke is one of my favourite animes. Spirited Away is brilliant too. Haven't seen a decent Manga for a while come to think of it.The Japanese stuff is great. Miyazaki is a genius..
As series go it has to be South Park. SImpsons has turned to shit and Family Guy while very good, just isn't in the same league.
I'm watching lots of cartoons with my son now.
There are series coming out of Japan now that are of high quality and production values.
Don't ask me to name them, I just look up from my book now and then and answer questions.
We must not confuse statistical probability with some transcendental and utterly compelling force.

Come to think of it I have watched some decent Manga recently and that's Bleach. That may be one of them. Naruto too.

Scooby Doo is still a legend!
It brought a tear to my eye seeing my students (Prathom 1) perform this song in one of those school shows( after a few weeks of teaching!); Scooby will still be entertaining their kids too.
Scrappy was the equivalent of Glen Matlock in the Sex Pistols; he had to go to make it work!!!

I get the new Scooby Doo films for my kid....also got the old Dino Mutt cartoons...I think a double bill with Scooby Doo...and also Laffaloympics (sp?) with all the Hanna Barbara characters in!!! Class!!!

I loved Anime when younger, but i have to admit I just don't understand most of it, Not sure anyone has seen Pakrika? It is seriously fucked up, almost gave me a panic attack watching it, really disturbing stuff. if David Lynch made a cartoon, it would be something like this.
I wouldn't like to watch this film on acid, it would put me in a nut house.
