Thread: outstanding minor film characters

That's the actor's name but to be fair he has been the minor henchman character in more films than you could shake a sub-machine gun at. As recognizable as an actor could be considering you've never known his name nor those of the characters he plays. Has probably died on screen more times than anyone else in the history of cinema and considering the entertainment factor of his deaths and how each of his deaths incrementally added to the star status of those dispatching him i.e. Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis, Jean Claude (I think) and many, many others as well as the joyousness of those films he dies in I'd be hard pressed to think of a more outstanding minor film character.

I'll go with that - one of my fave's. Drexl's quite memorable too, as is the Dennis Hopper who gets iced by Vincent.

In fact, there's a lot of great minor characters in that movie - Eliot the dupe and his film director buddy (supposedly based on Oliver Stone), Tony Soprano!

i'll start with

Wedge Antilles.

Instrumental in the desturction of both Death Stars, the only pilot to bring down an AT-AT using pure flying excellence too, and one of the last few standing at the closing Ewok party.

Did he get any recognition though? Did he ask for any? Did he fuck.

I think Wedge had some hot Ewok sex at the end of Ep III after the nyub nyub dance.

Anyway, everyone knows the real man of the original trilogy was Porkins. His absence from the 3 prequels was the major reason for their suckage.

I think the major story arc should've been about a svelte young Porkins and his succumbing to the allure of the supersize meal.
