    Crank - High Voltage entertainment

I watched Crank - High Voltage at the cinema today and found it highly entertaining. Full of tits, whores, swearing, killing and jokes about "chinks". Strange (well, maybe not) how the Thais didn't laugh at the really funny parts but they creased up about the guy with Tourette's syndrome. I'd like to watch it again sometime, but this time read the Thai subtitles to see how some of the stuff was translated.

I saw it last week and thought it was awesome. Whoever wrote the script is a genuis, I wasn't expecting to hear cockney rhyming slang. A bit of the film was censored though, what was in the box?
...a dress on a man can say that this person works in the cabaret or a cross-dressing or both

    Boom

Yeah, bearing in mind all the c*nts, f*cks, and other expletives in the movie, it is rather intriguing what they decided to censor out. I loved the camera angles and the fast-paced changes. I suppose it was a bit racist at times (maybe) but when you consider what idiots farangs are made to look in Thai movies... well

I had a Thai girl in tow and she thought the movie was crap.

Yep, I too watched Crank 2 over in the UK at the weekend and that is one crazy film!!

In respect of "what's in the box" and censorship. The contents were not revealed in the version over here, so maybe that is the way the film is supposed to be?

Maybe they are trying to do a Pulp Fiction type thing, like Marcellus Wallace, and his briefcase that we never saw the contents of?

A cracking film though, and even crazier than the first which I didnt think would be possible.

Haven't seen it but most of my Thai friends said they didn't like it. Glad to hear some positive reviews. I really liked the first one.

They wouldn't understand it and probably wouldn't like it if they did.

"Where is my strawberry tart?" (heart)

"Did I just drop some money? I thought I heard a Chink." (talking to an Asian guy)

It's one of those movies that I enjoyed so much I want to see again.

    Edit:

On second thoughts, if you hear of a movie that Thais say they don't like, that probably means it's worth watching.
