Atonement is very decent. Any film with a one take scene as long and brilliantly engineered as that one on the beach at Dunkirk worthy of recognition.
The Reader I haven't seen.
I can't see the first and fourth.
Tim Burton is brilliant. Don't be daft.

Well i agree that Atonement was visually impressive the story was really bland, tried to be like Titanic too much. Tim Burton always has great set design but i find his films very dull, apart from Pee Wees Big Adventure which is his best film.

Valkrye was a decent film everything considered.
Passengers is crap. I'd take a miss.
Haven't seen The Reader.
If you're being run out of town, get in front of the crowd and make it look like a parade.

The Matrix gets my vote. Come to think of it, any movie with Keanu Reaves is overrated.

I disagree, titanic is the highest grossing film of all time for a reason. more intelligent maybe but the old woman at the end telling the story just like titanic was what ruined the film for me.

Lord of the Rings movies....................utter shite. Stupid characters, stupid dialogue, boring movie. It's like it's on a 20 minute loop - Walk+temptation+battle, walk+temptation+battle, walk+temptation+battel, blah, blah, blah....
Most modern Clint Eastwood films..........has he got you all under a spell or what????

I thought Magnolia wasn't half as good as everyone made it out to be
Independance Day, The Day After Tomorrow, and most anything by that cheese dick director.
I liked slumdog though, it painted a pretty accurate picture of India IMO.

Shawshank is a great film IMO, now the Green Mile that's a 3 hour borefest.
