This is a show that's currently being aired in the UK on BBC3, about 6 young Brits who are sent to SE Asia to work in the food industry.
Week 1 and 2 saw them working in Indonesia in the tuna and prawn industries.
Lots of hard work for about £2.50 a day.
Anyways, next week they will be working in Issan in the rice industry.

Not me but the BBC iplayer website states it's not yet available in your country, so maybe it will maybe it won't shame, I downloaded 4OD also which is Channel 4s content but doesn't work here either, I heard someone say there is a way around this but maybe it's a myth.

Quite simple really. Could earn minimum wage in said 7/11 or factory but retain self-respect or can spread dem legs and get buck wyld with knock off nigel, earn way more money with no self - respect.
Simple is the one thing it isn't - you don't seriously think that all these girls needs to do is turn up at the local 7 and they'll be working that afternoon do you ? I'd also love to know how much self respect those chicken factory workers really have.
I'm in no way condoning what these girls do and think it's absolutely tragic that they end up in such a life - but to suggest they should just get a job at 7/11 instead is extremely naive......
Agree. You need a mimimum 16 year old education certificate to get a job at 7/11. the vast majority of these iaan girls are in the bar girl industry because there are no jobs for them unless you want to grow sticky rice for 150 baht a day or work in my towns tomato factory for a whopping 57 baht for a 6 hour shift. you can earn the equivalent of a month wage in a night in Bangkok. if this was the same in the west, girl in major cities would do exactly the same. i'm comltely condoning what they do becaue they have little other choice. the fact that so many Westerners get played is their stupidity.
