I don't know about the viewing but as for the stuff that led up to it...![]()

Twin Peaks was good too.
I think most of what I watch is illegal. Certainly on the computer (except YouTube, but even that can be a grey area.)
Even my cable TV is a bit 'woo-hoo, wa-hey'. The guy that comes round for the money every month doesn't look like he works in the telecommunications field.
"Take this, brother; may it serve you well."
Yes - good advantage of living in that area.
In Banglamung we used to get the cricket from south african supersport - not available at the time by cable in bkk.
'Sophon Cable' the company was called - very competitively priced but with no receipts.![]()
I know Sophon, it's unfortunate that it reaches only to about Sattahip or Banchang.
I want Pattaya TV. I don't really. Well, yes, I do. Just for the sheer unintended hilarity of the thing. Howard the Presenter (and voiceover guy for most of the adverts) with his weird pauses.
"Can't stand yet another Pattaya - Traffic jam then call - Dial a Dinner and select - from our menu and...."
Hang on - I wonder if YouTube has Howard.
Julie Newmar was the best Catwoman. I think she was also in L'il Abner.
^ Julie Newmar. Just imagine...

Aha! George and Mildred. It was a spin-off from Man About The House; both were pretty dire but then most sit-coms were pretty feeble back then. Honourable exceptions that spring to mind would be Porridge, Reginald Perrin, Rising Damp...
Into the 80s and a real gem was Ever Decreasing Circles which I watched again just recently and was very much impressed. Ahead of its time a little. The theme music was a real risk but it really worked.
Friday Night Lights
