I like that one too. It is that big - almost a religion in some schools....at least until basketball seasons starts.

The full article was pretty interesting. I don't know how you can get it on line, subscription or something? Anyway, that links to a precis of the full piece. As I say, interesting.

Breaking Bad - watershed TV event of this generation, towers above the rest

    After that, mostly olde school:
Rockford Files - I wanna live in a trailer on Malibu beach and drive a Camero. Don't get no better
Hawaii Five O - the first 3 seasons or so, featuring shot on film, on location in '60s Hawaii. Visuals extraordinaire
Star Trek TOS - Campy schlock is fun
Bob Newhart Show - 70's version of course. Suzanne Pleshette...mama!
ABC Tuesday Movie of the week - These were the HBO productions of their time. Some of my faves include: Duel, Trilogy of Terror, Brian's Song, Crowhaven Farm, Tribes, The Night Stalker, The Screaming Woman, Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark, Dying Room Only, Bad Ronald...
Crime Story: Michael Mann and Dennis Farino. Run, run, run runaway
Northern Exposure: perhaps my second fave behind Breaking Bad.

Good stuff there. Never heard of 99-1 though. Going off the other stuff it must be pretty good.

With an ass like that, I'll bet L'il Abner was in her, once, or twice.

Can't believe no one has mentioned the Buffster.

99.9% true. However, The Amazing Race is part travellogue part adventure series. They go places and do things that end up on my bucket list.

I love the way he was regularly pummeled when he tried to fight. Even when he cheated. "never say put'em up, Lance, you smile and sucker punch him".

Rockfish drove a Firebird. Great show.

How come nobody has listed Gunsmoke? That'd be at the top of my list.

If they'd cast julie newmar as Miss Kitty, I'd have listed it.

Straight out of Raymond Chandler, that.

I used to enjoy the rockford files too. The storylines were a bit hokey, but Garner carried it.

From Miss kitty to Catwoman...that would have been a good career choice.

I gotta add The Pacific too. Excellent series. I watched the whole thing in one weekend, couldn't pull myself a way from it.
