Thread: Taken 2 ...a disappointment

I love Liam, even have a slight man-crush on the guy, but Taken 2 was a disappointment. Blame the writers on this one. There are significantly less fighting scenes, no real great one-liners, and plot lacked some. In fact, the movie itself was relatively short. 1:25. It feels like they tried to copy part of the first one and just add a little (Kinda like Hangover 1 and 2). Decent overall, B- I'd say, no where near the A-calibre original. The car chasing scenes are way too long and the writer decided to replace the hand-to-hand combat fights from Liam with shooting battles. No fun. BEST PART of the night was when the film paused twice and we all got free movie tickets at the end! haha!

Taken 2. How could ever be a sequel to that one.

Hollywood has no shame.

not sure what you were expecting...damn thing has a 19% on rottentomatoes and thats for the thriller genre thats usually inflated there.
