Rarely get snow even close to like that in Bremerton ... maybe once every 2-3 years.
^...and now I can confess why I'm in bkk and not (less than) sunny New England: I shoveled my last driveway and swept my last walk years ago. Do I miss the changing seasons, get all misty-eyed over beautiful New England fall colors, and frosty windows at Christmas time?
...hell, no. If I did, I'd be there.

Thanks guys. My missis goes all weak-kneed at the very mention of the word snow. It's probably the one thing she would most love to see in life, followed closely by me doing the washing up.
The worst job in Thailand must be the man who has to sit down with a blue marker pen and mark a number two on the two-baht coins to stop people thinking they are one-baht coins.

Yes, very pretty.
Where I came from once it hit the ground it stayed there for four months. Loses it's appeal at that point.
But on Christmas Eve, out for a walk and combined with the lights....beautiful.
I miss the skiing but not enough to hasten a return.
On the Island the rain will get it quickly.

Snow .... yes, nice to look at for sure.
Once you've seen it a few times it's nothing more than a pain in the arse. (especially ... when you fall over in the stuff)

It's sunny today having snowed all day yesterday.
Schools and businesses are closed, and the sun is shining!
