    Fire works. Hear em everywhere.

Wifey and I love fireworks but we cannot ever see them or by the time we arrive they are over.
Anyone in Bkk know where i can find out about seeing fire works.

Is there anyone out there who actually does not like fireworks?

I nearly blew me hand off one Songkran in CM after lighting the fuse it flew down into the tube in mille seconds and went off. So some other smart arse loud mouth guy watching started sledging me and i said to him well i am a dumb aussie, perhaps you need to edgamacate me. Think he would be partially deaf now.

Riding the bike in Phuket once with wifey and these guys set of 2 really big fireworks so we stopped real quickly to watch em set off a third. Well 2 guys got up real close with there copy of a bik flicker and light it. Well they couldn't get it into the tube or something and there was panic. Off she went and knocked one of em to the ground. The rest of the guys watching wet emseleves.

Another time i was in the gulf of Australia working and some piro guy came out to our remote work location on May day and put on a show for about 1200 construction workers and miners. Well everyone was pissed and stoned and i am sure a lot in the crowd were tripping. I was sitting back watching the guys set up and the guys doing the show were pissed up as well. No real cops out there. Well they started the show and it was cool for a bit then some came in real low over our heads and went off burning stuff was falling everywhere and one opened the crowd up like a wave and it closed right behind the bomb and it went up and off just like that. After the show it was like everyone was dumbfounded how no one got hit or hurt.

    Got a cracker story?

Or where can i see em here in bkk?

I see them at least 2 times a week from my balcony. This is a pic taken last month or so. https://ajarnforum.net/phpbb/album_pic.php?pic_id=56

Sorry to brag, but from my sixth floor condo in CM, I see countless fireworks in three cardinal directions....for 6,500 baht/month rent. On New Year's Eve, about 12:30 a.m., they set off a bomb - not a pyro thing, just one immensely loud cracker - directly below me and almost broke some windows.

In grade school, my class mate Dale C. lost a finger - his thumb or two knuckles, I think.

I stop riding the bike during cracker time. Those loud noises right next to the bike spook me.

Loy Krathong by th Mae Ping (in CM) was hell on Earth. The kids (about the age of your students, PB) seem to think that tossing crackers into a songthaew full of "farang" is the biggest chuckle known to Man. One tossed a sizable cracker near my feet, and I punted it back at him and his mates. Ah, the indignant looks were well worth the risk!

After that, I've decided that firework-wielding Thai should be given about a kilometre's leeway in which to blow themselves up.
