This was backed up by Sawitti Malaipan , an entomologist (a scientist who studies insects) from Kasetsart University who said 'some foreigners attract the insect because they don't like to bathe'.

Of course hygiene has nothing to do with how much bedbugs are attracted to you as they go for warmth and sources of CO2.

But hey, didn't stop her lips from moving and unbelievably stooopid words from coming out.

The infestation is on the Ubon Ratchathani-Bangkok line. Since when is Ubon a hotspot for Sven and Bjorn, or Avi and Shlomi to go backpacking?
