I saw Dan Carter twice; once in a car park on the corner of Shirley Road and Hill Road and the other time in a sports shop on Colombo Street. Can't say as I met him, though.

I saw Reuben Thorne, who was the All Blacks captain a few years ago, at the Christchurch airport.
