2.70 for a pint of Guinness in my city centre local. Metrolink fares are bordering on the ridiculous and house prices have gone through the roof. there are also far too many chain pubs and non-descript coffee bars.
Chips and gravy's still cheap, mind.

Well BJ, Wagga Wagga is not as expensive as Woy Woy and don't even think of living in Wangi Wangi.
Seven Oaks, Chinatown- of course, it's even more expensive should you end up in a city centre bar.
If I drink local - which I rarely do when I'm back home - you can knock about 50p off that price in Failsworth and Droylsden.
