I once met Rod Stewart in my local chippy!!! Scotish through and throughHe was rehearsing at the local rehearsal studio before a gig in Manchester. Can't remember what he ordered. I also saw Tina Turner at the same studio, but she didn't go to the chippy.

What about Manchester City? Is it a wind up? Is Sven for real? He's signing so many players we've not even heard of, that I'm genuinely wondering if he's pulling the wool over all our eyes, or if he's just come over here for another laugh!" Paul Merson's views on City's chances in the Premiership this season.
I've taught a few "super stars" in Thailand. I could drop their names bur they were fanous five and alf years ago. Five years and five monthe ago they were forgotten!

I met the person referred to in the first post on several occasions in my bedroom - I'll say no more.

Jean Charest lives in my parents building, so I see him almost every day. Now, you must wonder who the hell is Jean Charest?
He's another boring Canadaian politician, like most of them are.

Matt Le Tissier who, by the way, wasn't as good as his older brother Carl who was offered a professional contract by Oxford United in the early 80's but he preferred to stay at his Mum's and play in Guernsey. He had two other older brothers that went away for trials and a much younger cousin who had trials purely because of his family name.
The Wife and I met Mr Chuan Leekpai at Dubai Airport and he was a very nice chap, he even spoke to us in the Southern dialect which I thought was very down to earth.
I met Bruce Grobbelaar when he came over for an autograph-signing session. I also met Emlyn Hughes in Brennans carpet shop, my best mates uncle (and, by coincidence MLT's uncle as well) told us that he'd be there at 3pm one day so we went not really believing him and there he was. Good laugh, he was.

I've met most of the Home and Away cast, not that I'm a big fan, I can't remember half their names. Does that even count?
And the Wingles twice, can't remember their names either, really nice guys though.
All advice is to be taken with a grain of salt, a dash of pepper and grilled with medium heat.
I used to know Suzie Lawrence, the daughter of Ernesto. Ernesto Lawrence invented the Cyclotron and won a Nobel Prize in Physics for it. Many places in the SF Bay Area are named after him. Lawrence Expressway, Lawrence Berkeley Lab.
