is virginity a valued trait? obviously the parents will be able to sell their daughters for a lot more if she is a virgin as opposed to the parents of the local bike, i mean lets say that your a teenage thai male living in nakon nowhere, there are 30 teenage boys and 30 teenage gals in your village, lets say 5 of the boys are either gay or deformed so they aint gonna get their leg over, 5 of the gals put it out for anyone, so 25 guys have all done these 5 gals, so they aint gonna marry them, so theres 25 guys and 25 gals able to marry and 5 gals that come to work in pattaya who we consider virginal as they aint been with a farang, actually i should add to this that most of the gals i have been with that aint been with a farang tend to bleed, i assume that the thai male is not able to break the hymen in full.

Some Thai males are plenty wide enough to break the hymen in full, even if they don't have six inches. Mexicans tend to be wide, also.

That's the double standard right there, in natural biology: she can't tell by looking at the guy whether he's done it, but he might be able to tell that she's done it.

Just for the record... blood on the sheets, or absence of, is not a definitive sign of virginity... the hymen can break without intercourse (atheletic women often break their hymens before they've had sex), and bleeding can occur after the first time.
