right, here's a good one for all you engineering, physics and applied maths graduates.. you have 12 identical ball bearings numbered 1 to 12, and a set of balancing scales. one of the ball bearings has a fault because it has a different weight than the others. your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to come up with a method to not only isolate the dodgy bearing, but to also determine if said ball is heavier or lighter than the rest. the only snag is, you can only use the scales 3 times there is no dragging off or slipping on etc. involved. 3 straight balances. it's not a trick question. i'll give the vast brain known as "the ajarm forum massive"24 hours. ....

The vampires are statues, silly. Or at least they're usually statues. Sometimes they're raving looney were-creatures. Depends on the position of the moon, time of the month kinda thing.
