Yeah, I am going to have to take the correction on the whole. Nearest I can get is that "Reproductive age" is normally defined as "15 to 40" while "peak reproductive age is defined broadly as 20's to 30's. Lots of sites pointing out the higher risks to younger mothers.

I could find lots of *animal* studies that show younger is better (mice, drosophila etc), but all the human stuff points the other way. The only "support" I could find was in this article:

which says:
Bill Ledger, professor of reproductive medicine at Sheffield University, said: "This is fascinating. We know the best quality eggs are ovulated early in life,

but in general the article is concerned with late motherhood rather than early.

It certainly makes sense to me at least.

Same as women generally look for certain stuff in men (subconsciously..sp?)....obviously not all though.

OK, not the best source, but give me half an hour or so after lunch and I should have tacked it down. Problem was my early search concentrated on the female side of it and got hooked up on all those infertility type sites.

Start searching around "men, attractiveness reproduction" and you hit a gold mine.

I think it can work both ways....some people are born gay/pedoes/sheep lovers....some people are brought up or evolve into them....fitty fitty? Do you get what I mean? I also think some people are born evil, and some people due to their life experiences can become evil (and all that's inbetween).
