So must think the average farang ex-pat who lives in Thailand. Because if he dresses quite well (doesn't matter if he is handsome, getting old or not), has a decent job and lifestyle in Thailand and can speak a smattering of Thai, he can live 'the dream'. That is, a never ending stream of hot Thai girls to date. And no, I don't mean cute bar girls from the north east who he might meet in G-Spot bar. I mean respectable, well educated Thai girls from good families and with good jobs, who prefer to stick to Thai tradition and culture (which makes them so much more exiting a challenge for the farang).

Because of a lot of decent Thai girls seem to want to date farang men. I don't know why; maybe they think farang men are rich and have good future prospects, or maybe they think farangs are generally kinder and less pre-disposed to fly the nest than Thai men. And the ratio of cute Thai girls to ex-pat single farang men in Thailand is heavily stacked on the female side. Basic statistics. Every day, when a farang man leaves his apartment, he will be confronted with a sea of beautiful Thai girls, at work, at restaurants and slick hotels where he hangs out. It's like being in Toys r Us where you can pick any toy you want and the shelves get stacked with new toys every day.

And so many (though by no means all) single ex-pat farangs in Thailand have a very cock-sure attitude when it comes to Thai girls. Super confident. Flirty. Picking up telephone numbers everywhere they go. Dating and working hard to get into the knickers on the next cute Thai girl that takes their fancy. Never mind if they already have a girlfriend. As long as she doesn't find out it won't matter.

Don't misunderstand me. I have a steady girlfriend and have been settled for over 2 years now not wanting to look elsewhere. But I have met so many many ex pat farang men who play the GAME of dating like masters, leaving many good Thai girls broken hearted along the way.

And Thai girls seem to make it so easy for the farang men to do this. They are generally trusting and try to do things to please their boyfriend, not always suspecting what he is up to on the side. And even if she finds out, well ultimately it won't matter to the farang anyway. Because if he is of the type who loves the thrill of chasing pretty Thai girls he will know that a new and even cuter Thai girl, just like the number 7 bus to Peckham, will arrive at the stop very soon.

Alai wah? Thai girls always fall for an expensive shirt... I mean yeah confidence, you can pick them up very quickly, if you want to, or you can seat around and waste your time on the internet I did it a couple of times, in public places, I was so amazed at how easy it was, sort of never tried since then( i.e. since 3 days ago) , if you keep it up like that me thinks you may end up turning gay
