Or if you're in a nice rural-ish setting 525 will get you a pokey two bed flat....mine is at least brand new though.

    Cheers.
I've got my ticket today for 6th May, so pretty soon I will be frightening myself with UK pricing but at least this time I will be holding a ticket back to Thailand. I haven't been home for about 3 years and 9 months, so it will be great to catch up with family and friends and hopefully meet one or two new ones if things pan out.
Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.

^shit mate I might be gone again by then - came down for teabreak yesterday and got a call from Beijing - how cool would it be to be there for the Olympics I wonder?

Plan is now to try to live there and here - some people do live in different places at different times, no need to stay in just one - or live there and come back here in holidays - been good in a sense, revitalised family links and UK links, am not a UK basher anyway and tend to go away because I want to go there, not leave here - having said that it's starting, after 7 months, to get to me - your salary makes ends meet, you're taxed to death - it's swings and roundabouts, there are many good things that aren't over there but......guess I was just too long in exile baby, can never go home again - enjoying it here but still haven't really come back

Its all relative. In Oz a cappucino is $5, but in Hanoi its 20,000 dong. It was scary getting the bill for dinner for 4 in Hanoi and it was 537,000 dong. It felt like we'd spent a fortune until we converted it at 14,000 dong to the Aussie dollar.
