Re: Southern Ajarners' Bash
I am too up for it. I'd suggest Phuket for the conveniences, Trang if we want some quiet and nice atmosphere, Koh Pha Ngan for the beach or Krabi?
I personally think that Phuket is suitable as it's not too far for everyone, also there are regular bus routes from places to Phuket.

I'm partial as I live on Phuket, but it does have something for everyone...even quiet beaches believe it or not. Nai Torn, Anewi, Mai Khao, Bang Tao and even Surin are all quiet. Bungalows in all price ranges are available on almost any beach and plenty of restaurants too!!!

If this were an Eastern Seaboard get together. I think anything north of Koh Tao would be defeating the purpose.

Re: Southern Ajarners' Bash
I'd be willing to venture out.
Haven't been to Haadie in ages.
Always wanted to visit Songkhla.
Even Nakkhorn Sri suits me.
Krabi, Trang, Koh Yao Noi...gadai.

Re: Southern Ajarners' Bash
I'd be up for Had Yai too, only been down there on day-trips so an over-night stop and a mooch around would be good fun.
If everyone else is in favour then we can confirm the venue as The Buzzstop.
Now, how about a date? We'll take it as read that it will be on a Saturday night.
We should also bear in mind that Jimbo is heading Down South some time soon, I'll ask him if he knows any dates yet.

Re: Southern Ajarners' Bash
Hat Yai is cool for me too...but it might be a bit far for the Phuket people.
Isn't it 6+ hrs by car?
