Um. The poll doesn't seem to have helped much. Why don't we do a three-month rotation thingy? Start in Songkhla (ços I'm biased) this month, Krabi in August and so on?

Phuket is groovy if you avoid the southwest and Phuket Town (unless you really like Norwegians). About 70% of the island is fckin beautiful valleys, mountains, beaches with bugger all people on them - you can spend a great week motorcycling around it - I did a year and a bit ago

have a Thai mate works at Patong - only reason I go there is to see him - soon as he finishes work we fck off elsewhere - are some really great Thai music bars - got to jam with 2 blues bands in 2 places in 1 night last time - sht-the-feck hot bands toooo
