Okey dokey folks as the poll is tied I shall have to go along with Gum Tree's suggestion (bloody good one too) except I think that we should start off in Krabi purely and simply because Mister Stretch said that he will be back in Had Yai in August so we should do our best to accommodate any returning Southerners.
So the inaugural Southern Ajarners Bash will be in Krabi (at a location to be confirmed) on the 31st May 2008. All posters that live in the South of Thailand (and partners) are welcome to join as are our more Northerly brothers and sisters who may be touring in our area at the time. Below is a list of interested posters so feel free to add or remove your name as appropriate:

Did you get the PM I sent you last night? Basically I'm open to suggestions, so far I have been told that the Cafe Europa in Krabi Town is a good place or perhaps one of the numerous bars down at Ao Nang might be more suitable.

I was thinking we should first pick a location and then decide which establishment(s).
Cafe Europa is very convenient for me as I live in Krabi Town, but I'm wondering if the people traveling in for the weekend would rather be on the beach.
