Explanation please - Ajarn Forum

A pint for anyone who can explain to me what happened last night.
Woke up with a head like a broken biscuit, I'm without a phone and I have cuts and bruises all over like I've been in a scrap.
I can vaguely remember talking to the lady friend but she didnt come over, she's not in my bed.
I recall being asked to leave this Scottish pub and some dogs going crazy at me somewhere else.
I must have been smashed because I dont know what would make me go into a Scottish pub.

Thats the only place I remember being really, I can remember talking to some Thais asking which street I was on but still couldnt find my way home so god knows how I got there.

What I do know is I didnt get my leg over plus I've had to buy another phone and lost all my numbers while another English boxing champion has been de throned.

Its also the last day of the footy season so I'm probably going to be in a simular state later. Deary me.

Ha, no I dont think so. I leave the katoeys alone, I dont give them any abuse.
The shame from getting a hiding off one of them would be hard to live with. What they get up to isnt any of my business.
I dont give Thais abuse either, I get on with them, I like them. There's no reason to start trouble with them or anyone else for that matter plus it wouldnt take much for just one farang to go missing never wake up in a ditch somewhere.

It isn't absolutely necessary to go for the record every time out....

I once had a similar problem where I used to drink a bottle of Mekong every evening. One night after about three weeks I just blacked out. Lost all orientation of where I was.

It's a common enough theme on ajarn: grown men who can't hold their liquor wake up de-balled with no clear recollection of the previous evening's consumption pattern....and then rush to post their experiences here.

'Tis a matter of shame, I would think, that an adult doesn't know his limit....or would feel the need to tell others about his excess as if it were an achievement.

C'mon Tomcat ... its all practice. There isn't a man alive who doesn't get some twinge of satisfaction, however slight, knowing that they can drink the next man under the table.

It's also a matter of shame knowing that it's these idiots that get themselves into this sort of trouble.
They know where they're going,
They know (at the start) what they're doing.

If they want to go out to the low-life areas....They get what they deserve.

Theres been a couple guys at my school that have lost phones and credit cards. Som nam nah!!

For the OP, it could just be copious amounts of alcohol but have you considered that someone may have slipped a mickey in your drink with the intent to roll you for your phone?

Was anything else missing like money, cards, watch or jewelery?

Sorry guys, but people who can't take their drink/don't know their own limit really piss me off (and I mean, REALLY piss me off

).

Who said anything about going on the wagon? It's not that difficult to drink without getting yourself into such a state that you piss people off, get your head kicked in and can remember nothing about it - is it??
