People do some selfish (fucked up) thing.

Signature schmignature.....
Standing around on the escalator at Mo Chit BTS during the rush hour when there's a train standing in the station waiting and everyone who's running late could easily get a f**king move on and make that train but do they? No. They stand about double file on the staps so that nobody that's in a rush can have the option of running to get on the train. That's plain stupid.
When I was in America a guy told me to 'have a nice day' but I didn't, so I sued him
You completely missed it, DJP![]()
you
continue to bitch and moan, yet when someone agrees with you, if it's stated in a tongue in cheek fashion you apparently can't discern the meaning......
I forget, you're not a native speaker.
You're not gonna change 'em, dude....double up on your Valium...Originally Posted by DJ Pat

...the beaches...the waves...the bikinis...Chang...ahhhhh!!!!!
So you think this is all me being dead dead serious and hoping to change the world?
I know that's not possible.
Dodgin' the issue DJP....you were serious enough when you bitched about the taxi's attitudes towards pedestrians....all I did was make a joke to the effect that most Thai taxi drivers don't do much in the way of thinking....and point out to you that I did indeed understand your post, you simply didn't understand mine....
No harm, no foul.
.... and yet you still bitch about it....sometimes I do too, but I've found, after much trial and error, that laughing at them, while difficult in the extreme at times, is better for the body and mind than the chemical and physiological reactions that allowing oneself to stress-out brings on....I know that's not possible.

Points taken mate, good ones as well.
About a month after I started living here, I had an elderly Thai bloke sit next to me while I was having a bit of scran. Having asked "aroi mai?" he then sneezed all over me, my food and my water. He neither apologised nor seemed concerned by this as he continued to tuck into his own meal.
At the time I was unable to work out whether he had no manners and was just unable to comprehend how rude he had been, or whether he was purposely being rude to the farang and was showing this by actively depositing his phlegm upon me.
Either way, I didn't finish the food.
Samak- "Westerners have a saying, 'Look at both sides of the coin', but Westerners only look at one side, Myanmar is a Buddhist country. Myanmar's leaders meditate. They say the country lives in peace. We have three neighbours: Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar. We use their resources, all three of them. If we have this great relationship, why should we pick on them?....They (the leaders) found new gas resources. I negotiated with them so we can sign contracts."
I had a woman in her fifties deposit her spray from a sneeze all over me on the Underground today. Luckily I had a bottle of water with me to pour over my arm and right hand to clean it.
Is being obsessed with the "energy saver" button on the office photocopier an example of being peasant minded?
