Right, basically the way this will work (if you agree) will be for you to answer a few polls.
Firstly, say if you go on the forum at work. Saying 'no' is just as important.
Next you say on average how many hours you spend on the forum while you should be working. Only do this if you answered 'yes' to the previous poll.
We will then multiply the average time spent on the forum at work with the average hourly wage of all workers on the forum in USD, I'm sure you'll be able to work out your hourly wage.
Next we will find out how many forummers there are in total. We will then multiply this by the final cost per hour figure.
I won't provide a poll for this figure so we can discuss it.
Possible weakness: This methodology does not take account of Lurkers. How do we incorporate the impact of lurkers lurking at work? We can't poll them....
