If no one can do anything about the food money I can try and take care of it. The biggest problem I have is that the nearest Western Union is well over a mile away from my house (I searched their site

) and I am really in no condition to drive there at the present.

So, if someone else can get it, great. If not, I will walk it as a last resort.

Miami is not a good place to be stranded. It is probably one of the worst cities I have visited. There are some very bad areas there, and Greyhound stations typically tend to concentrate in such locales.

I would be careful on your walk. If you have a laptop, you might consider putting it and the case in your primary sack. Looking homeless may help you escape wandering eyes. Its early enough, you should be alright. Is pawning your laptop an option by chance? Could save you the trouble of another incident....

why cant you just ask someone to use their phone.....the hospital should be able to give you some assitance. i mean if youre so far from home....just ask anyone...anyone to use their phone or something man.

I don't know if there is a western union at that particular greyhound station. For the $20-$40 food mony on the way.

but there may be a western union outlet near the station.

I am about 7 miles from the station.

What do you mean? Are you saying someone got a hold of his user id and is attempting a scam?

The only way that would even make sense is if Greyhound tickets can be exchanged for cash. Even then it seems like a bit of a stretch....
