Oh, where to start? I never said "My country, right or wrong", although you must admit, it is. No matter what that mental midget in the White House does, it's still OUR America. If he's/it's wrong, (for example, the latest hare-brained idea to shovel lots of our tax-dollars into Africa), I still feel the same about OUR COUNTRY, but I also critique the specific problem. If you believe yourself to be such a good American, why can't you accept that some people feel even more strongly about the US than you, or express themselves differently about it? I think you're attacking me for your own misunderstandings of my posts' intent. In the posts you quoted, the first statement was made IN RESPONSE to a slam by dd. I guess you'd have turned the other (or spread the other) cheek, right? As for the second, what's wrong with expressing, albeit strongly, my right to indulge in feelings of patriotism?
