Ah, I remember his rants...good times, good times.

Actually, looking back at it, as time has passed and without being, what's the word, too on the edge about his persistent annoyances. I don't know what it is that makes me bite at things like this being said, I mean it is at the end of the day utter nonsense, isn't it?

I shouldn't really let it get to me so much I guess, just ignore him is probably the best course of action. But, it is the way he forces the point across, like even after you try to defuse him and get him on the right tracks, he continues to spit (as in accidently) in your face, mouthing "f**k the queen, foreigners are scum bags, I am so great, why are you not doing my work?" Then, while you are wiping the smelly, stinking, foul spit from your face, and telling him to stop spitting, sit the f**k down and stop being an utter c*nt, he continues and says "well, i'm angry" and some other rubbish. Like, dude, you are spitting in my face, I don't like it.

I still can't believe why he thinks he shouldn't have been sacked, too. Jesus, the guy can't even attach a file for EMail yet he thinks he is the godsend of TEFL and everybody must bow to his every whim. Yes, he can hold a conversation in English without confusing you too much. Granted the children were reciting their books word for word but ask them a question and they fall flat on their feet and but and but and but.

And to top it all off, he is offered a well paid job, just liaising between business people in Thailand and India for 50,000 Baht per month plus expenses, i.e. flights, telephone, hotels and he gets squirmish about actually having to work for a living. Is this not proof enough that he is a lazy good for nothing? If he were just to get off his fat behind, except the fact that even though he has been teaching for x amount of years he probably won't be very successful in it, if he were to do a bit of work (not too much), stop annoying people and being a royal pain in the proverbial, I am sure that he could surpass himself and do extremely well. All he need do his brush up his skills a bit, except a challenge and he'll be better off.


Anyway, back to the op, trust me, this guy you are getting annoyed with probably isn't worth the stress dude. Just ignore the dude and not get wound up by him, thing I found with the dude who was annoying me, the more I tried to get on with him, the more hassle it was to myself in more ways than one. Don't even think, when he talks because inevitably if you do bite, you'll just end up getting in bother yourself.

I've had one of these guys before. The guy at my school was this gay guy (no offense to those of you who are) who made everything difficult for all foreign teachers. He would lick the director's a'hole if she asked him too! Meetings were the worst he would always contradict everything everyone else said no matter how good the idea or point was. Sometimes he would take credit for someone else's work and create friction in meetings for no real reason. He was the thorn in everyone's side at my school. On top of his attitude he was also inconsiderate. He eventually quit which everyone was pleased he did.

When I was in Khon Kaen we had a Thai-American jockying to get hired.

He was such a cunt that he wasn't even hired yet but already was in everybody's business and constantly had the boss, who seemed to adore him, by the ear.

I engineered a confrontation with him on a school trip that had him looking quite the asshole and he was done and dusted before he ever had the chance to be the office asshole.

Panhunger may remember that episode.
