That girl looks like a real idiot. Maybe she should have had a conference with Mike Tyson before going under the needle.

    Re: Tattoo disasters

I didn't think they gave you anaesthetic when you have a tattoo done?

There's absolutely NO way that girl fell asleep while she was having her face tattooed. Not a chance.

My tattoo was the probably the most painful thing I've ever experienced.

The number of people walking around with awful tattoos amazes me.

I think it's common practice not to tattoo the face or neck in the UK. At least that's what I heard. There used to be a guy with a spiders web on his face where I grew up - I always found him a little scary.

Anyone else find that you can't look at your tattoo too much otherwise you start freaking out? I try not to look too much at mine otherwise I feel a bit claustrophobic. I don't like staring at it and realising that I can never get rid of it - even though I really like it. There's something just so permanent about it. I think it plays havoc with my commitment issues.

You know, I went to that site and checked out genital section. Did you see what people do to themselves?

    I love bmezine!

And why are you guys so shocked about people falling asleep during a tattoo session? My boyfriend fell asleep when he had his stomach done and thats supposed to be a painful place. I also know of a few others falling asleep, not uncommon.

    Re: Tattoo disasters

Just me then. I get the same sort of feeling when I look in the mirror sometimes. Like normally I just look in the mirror and get 'that's my face' but every once in a while I glance in the mirror and get a bit weirded out between the connection of my mind and thoughts and the person that I see in the reflection. Maybe I have some sort of weird mental health condition. Maybe it's a disassociation from my body or something like that. I can't be the only person on the planet that gets it though surely?

The tattoo thing is more an issue with claustrophobia I think.

Oh my god. Eye tattooos??? I'm in shock. Who the hell does this??? Isn't it dangerous?

I still feel a bit suprised when I walk past a mirror and get a climpse of them, 'specially the ones that I can't see normally. I had to start wearing wifebeaters under my shirt 'cos when I sweat the kids were pointing out my tattoos.

    unreal. absolutely unreal.

a bit unethical for an artist to do that. i dont know for a fact, but i think most tattoo artists wouldnt do that job, unless she was heavily tattooed already. they do in fact turn down jobs, for reasons such as getting sued and pissed off parents. it just aint worth the 500 bucks or so.

wow...young and stoopid. lying about getting a tattoo is probably A#1 reason why one is too young to get one.

Why? That's the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.
At least stars are pretty. They make a good pair.

What would possess a girl to ruin her face like that? I certainly don't think it is attractive. Do you?

Maybe they passed out from the pain? Just a thought, it's not uncommon.
