Hi there just wondering if anyone was reading any good books right now. I'm currently reading Ilium by Dan Simmons but can't wait to get into Endymion by the same guy. I love sci fi and fantasy books.
David Gemmell is another great read.

I've read The Terror (brilliant) and the Hyperion books (very good) by Simmons recently. I have The Endymion Omnibus sitting there looking vast and waiting for me as well as The Hollow Man. Right now though, I'm reading Contact by Carl Sagan. It's rather good.
What's the name of the guy that wrote i-Robot?

The Terror was fantastic. Hyperion I found very good, but a little uneven. Endymion I've been told really builds on the Hyperion books though. Simmons does have an absurd brilliance for scope and detail.
