My good friend in Sri Lanka, a politician's son millionaire, has a new pet project: a string of eco-resorts around the country, including one set on a small island he bought for the purpose. In an FB chat just now he asked me if I knew anyone who'd be up for the job of running the place.
He's looking for a completely inter crowd involved on many levels. Before I hit these shores I almost stayed on in SL to get involved in one of his projects; he's rather free-wheeling- because he knew and trusted me from tsunami volunteer stuff he offered me a few opportunities I was in no way 'qualified' for. Alas, at that point I was still quite naive in the ah...relativity and flexibility of that very concept. No longer (credit: Thailand!).
Anyway, this isn't a serious recruitment attempt, just thought it would make an interesting thought experiment. Shit, part of me would love to just jump on in.
