My example... I'll be coming to live & possibly work here one day & I'll be bringing my girlfriend & the sprog. I won't be regretting it in the least when I see the local women, cos I know it's all a fucking facade. Given me a stable loving long-term relationship over a life of drunken debauchery every time.

I know a lot of western guys dating / married to western women... I think many, as you say Pat wish they had arrived unencumbered... and are only fooling themselves when they say they arent into Thai women. Others I believe genuinely prefer the relationship they have.

Just like western guys who have opted for the life of being with Thai women - many are happy and equally there are those that are lying to themselves when they say they have made the right choice.

Whatever shade your skin and whoever you are fucking, consistent self honesty is a tough thing to commit to... and we all lie a little sometimes.
