Greetings, my new recruiter told me I need a 20 hour cheap online course to apply for this job that I want. A little about myself, I have taught for over a year in Korea and one year i Taiwan and have a 4 year degree from the states. Guys, I want the cheapest and quickest thing possible and I don't want to learn anything from it....I want something that I can whip out in like 2 days of staying on the computer all weekend long. I just need any crappy certificate to show him. Preferably something where I can download it and just quickly click through all the pages and act like I did nothing. Thanks.
With your experience that's BS. The job can't be worth that much if they will accept a 20 hour on-line TEFL over 2 years of experience. Tell them to suck it.

i may be being dumb here, but isn't the quickest 20 hour TEFl, well, 20 hours??
Kentucker is back...
Why would anyone require a 20 hour course? Sure that isn't 120 hours?
Suggest that you post in either the staffroom or the general section because you are not a newb just a nob.
There is is this job that I am shooting at and they like my experience. My recruiter said they would like to see a minimum of a 20 hour course. This is for a job in Taiwan.I am posting here, because I figured you are all knowledgeable on this. Taiwan is really big on face type stuff that doesn't really matter but just looks good....I suspect this is no different. Just a certificate to make the parents happy and say I have a degree, experience and a TEFL. The teaching situation in Taiwan has gotten a bit more competitive in the last year or so over there.
Not seen a post from you for a while Mr Speaking, nice to see you haven't improved.
Well...have you googled it?
Yeah, but I would like some reviews to see which ones require no effort.
So...Do you think someone who took a course requiring 'no effort' would be likely to put any effort into reviewing it for you?
Dude, I just wanted to hear of one that was easy....the companies won't tell you that.
Did you ask your recruiter?
---Update---
BTW
If you can't figure out which ridiculously short online TEFL courses are 'easy', I'm afraid you're especially dense and would rather not help you in your quest to share your unique density with unsuspecting students.
Hey hey, I'm in a stellar mood just now.![]()
Make sure that you put the contact number from your 1+ years of experience in Korea. I am sure that they would love to know that you 1. pulled a runner screwing over the school and the second time that you went back to Korea you got fired after a few weeks because of panic attacks.
Also tell them that you are the reincarnate of Buddha and saw bigfoot. That is some special stuff you need to put on your resume. Then you wouldn't have to ask if anyone knows some BS online crap.
If you are new to Kentucker, you should search his old threads on here and Daves. This guy is the biggest troll in the world.
At tghe first school, my boss was making me pay his utillities and his entire family's phone bill while lying about it and making me teach 11-12 classes a day (only foreign teacher at the school). Like I give a shit about pulling a runner on a thief like that? Get real guy....you know nothing of the actual circumstances. My nervous system just went haywire the second time in Korea. I did the one year contract in Taiwan and did a very good at the school, just like I was doign at my first school in Korea before I found out my boss was cheating and stealing from me. By the way, excuse the above typos.
