Thread: W.T.F. Doppelganger ?

A friend of mine in another country who knows my posting name suggested that I should direct myself to another board that he frequents, TD.

I do not subscribe to TD and perhaps look in there once or twice a year.It appears that someone has copied my posting name from here or T.T. and is stirring up a pile of controversy using my name.

Is there no security check that can or could identify who the actual poster is, or where they are posting from ?

I found the whole series (albeit short) of posts very amusing, it seems as if there is someone loose either here or TT or TD who is best described as "excitable" and is posting strange comments and besmirching my posting name and others here too and also other forums too, the whole posting scene is so mixed up it is weird.

So if you see my name attached to any posts on T.D it isn't me.

Well Cluezo the topic post heading on T.D is,

Pheu Thai gears towards amnesty, the name Fortesque Smythe Brown start to appear around post number1554 on page 63 on November 17th 2011.

Later on in the section another name appears quoting the posts I am alleged to have made !!!

The target of the posts is a poster by the name of Calgary who seems to be a tad exciteable, reading his diatribes I am starting to wonder whether Calgary is the actual poster using multiple names.

A number of comments were and have been made concerning my posting history and topics over a long period of time too here in ajarn.com. I do have my suspicions as to who may be behind the matter in T.D. and their posting name here too, however that is pure conjecture so I am not going to name names. However I am inclined to consider the theory that it is a poster from here in ajarn.com considering the comments made.

If that is so I am saddened that the person whom I think it might be isn't man or woman enough to either start a topic in the open forum or at least P.M. me with their comments.

It would be interesting to know if anyone has been recently banned or had posting rights suspended for a period of time from ajarn by the mods for abusive, trolling inappropriate posts say around the time of April or May of this year.

I refuse to enter the fray by joining under any name in T.D. I regard such an action would only serve to inspire further romantic excitable posts from others I much prefer to treat such posters with the contempt they deserve.

Perhaps the mods on T.D might better placed and thus advised to act upon the matter rather than me.

But seriously, who gives a shit? Now that you've told us, we know that that poster isn't you. And I don't think many people go over there much from here. I take a gander once in a while, but it's pretty redundant and dull.
