i'd agree, it looked to me more like discreetly-placed muscle moving in, they didn't move like random bystanders at all. kinda like the muscle moving in when someone gets belligerent after getting ripped off at a shell game.

From my understanding, 'wilding' is when young American blacks decide to gang up and cause a scene, by looting or through random acts of violence in the streets. Lately, convenience stores have been the target. The media reports on these incidents are hilarious. Without fail, they never mention the perpetrators are black, simply referring to them as "a group of rowdy teens", or something to that effect.

If memory serves - and this is going back a long ways - a white jogger in Central Park was jumped, beaten, raped and left for dead (she was hit on the head with a rock). When the story broke, the term 'wilding' was tossed around, but the awful truth was that wilding was not an unusual occurrence in NYC at that time (the 1970's). I think rape was associated with wilding, but as you note Beavis, the black skin of the attackers is no longer mentioned for PC purposes and the term may include 'flash mob' behavior, but not limited to rape.
