Does anyone know where to get decent socks in Thailand?
Oh sure, there's bargain basement street corner socks. The use 'em and throw 'em away socks that are so disdained by the more well-heeled, but what I need is a good quality sock. A really nice pair.
Cotton or wool, none of this polyester "business sock" malarkey. I need my feet caressed by blissful satisfying sock. The full sock experience.

Never could find either (wool or cotton) even in BKK. I brought back a life time supply on my last visit to the states. Have you got anybody in the west who can mail you a care package?

I serious issue, and one I am very glad you raised. One of the main problems I find with socks is that they are either extreme right or extreme left. There seems to be no happy middle ground. That and the fact that religion seems to be the achellies heel for many socks and they often find themselves to be holy (i know i know)

I got cotton socks from JJ market. The downside is they are too tight even though they purported to be suitable for size 9.

Marks and Spencer will cater to your every desire. There's no point in wearing cheap socks. Like wearing cheap shoes, it really is a false economy. (They also sell underwear)
and buy loads of the same ones. i go to school every day with holey, mis-matched socks cos i cant be arsed to fuck around looking for a matching pair at 6am and am too lazy to chuck the holey ones out at 7pm..
