How can you speak for all women?

I don't hate the thought at all. If they are happy then that is all that counts. It is a very different culture in Thailand from the west. Many men that can't get a girl in the west go to Thailand because they can easily get a girl and buy one cheaply for sex. I'm sure not all men go to Thailand to just meet a girl and not all western men pay prostitutes either (from guys that I've talked to).

The girl in the article is giving her opinion based on a short time in Thailand and writing about what she observes.

I said to budahhas tha 'Sarah' should have focused more on the child trafficking because it is big business in Thailand.

No. It comes from Latin "et alii", which means "and others".

In academic authoring it's blah and blah and blah. If there are more than 3 blahs it becomes et. al. which means whomever else contributed. I know it came from Latin, I graduated high school.

As I remember it, it would take less than an hour to ride around the entire island...or has the island gotten bigger over the years...

There are more holes in her story than in her head.

    ^^^

An hour is about right. I remember when you went there with your CM gf and your 250 off-road.

That was Phangan, I've only been to Samui once on my virgin visit to Thailand...I think I remember being as clueless as the article writer too...but it still didn't take me 2 hours to travel less than an hours distance...

How could you cause me to lose face? Do you see yourself as a highly-polished Jedi round here?

I think the circumference is 50-60 k. When you live there it gets small real fast.

My problem, aside from the pathetic contradictions in her thinking, is that her story is just bullshit in parts. Ok, I am not the most clued up sexpest out there (we definitely need huhu back for that), but I have never once heard the words 'happy ending' in a bar coming from a bargirl's mouth. That bit is entirely made up. It is just the fantasies of a young, naive idiot who should really put some thought into their thoughts...
