...a comedy from director Steven Soderbergh. Although none of the cast breaks the acting barrier, Matthew McConaughey steals the movie as a male strip-club owner whose dance crew includes fabulous bodies performing outlandish routines for female audiences...except for the subject matter, the plot is formulaic and nearly kills the movie half-way through when Channing Tatum's self-doubt about career plans as a 30ish stripper come into play...the first half, however, is riotously funny, particularly if you're sitting with an audience of teenage females and flamboyant queens screaming at the sudden (though hugely anticipated) exposure of male behinds...strangely, no censorship of butts or (female) tits...
...majestically enthroned amid the vulgar herd...
I liked Matthew McConaughey in Contact. His performance as Palmer Joss - a conflicted priest was captivating. Is this movie similar in any way?
^Silence of the Lambs and Taxi Driver...two all time classics. Has she ever been naked? If not, it's too late.
she did a kind of dance seen on the dock in Nell.
It shot from a distance. But it was a memorable scene.
I think she has a few more years left to do some good scenes.

^I had a crush on her in my younger days. Mainly from Contact. Finding out she was a lesbian put a damper on our romance though.
I believe more than teenage females go to see this movie.
Too much talk of females on this thread. Needs more male pics.
Nice scenery in this film.
Channing Tatum is yum, as is Matthew McConaughey. Great dancing in this movie. Channing I remember from the movie Step up where he showed his dancing skills.
Joe Maganiello is a definite star in this show. Italian I'm guessing.![]()
