Today's news is that some Thai kid poured oil over his 15 year old girlfriend in a fit of jealous rage. The girl died. Wasn't there a post a few months ago about a poster here who's daughter got severely beaten up..... again by some Thai kid?
Why are Thai men so jealous? Aren't they the one who do most of the screwing around anyway?

It takes two to tango. If the the Thai men are screwing around, they are probably screwing around with Thai women, who are in turn probably screwing around on their Thai men. Thai women can be pretty damn jealous too.Originally Posted by buddahas
I think it is more about why Thai men act out more violently. Thai men are almost expected to play around, so a woman can't really assault them for it. The women aren't "allowed" the same freedom. So they get beaten in a sort of justified, "crime of passion."

On second thought, it could be because of their small penises, and beating up a woman makes them feel manly.

It seems to me that western men get very jealous too--they just express it differently. Perhaps the question is, why can't Thai men control their jealousy? To which we could also ask, why can't western men control those other emotions that Thai men can control much better?

Blame it on poor impulse control.
Thais seem to be able to do anything "easily" except for work, manage money, and plan for the future.
