Who here actually lives in Thailand?

Russell is in Canada, I think jonny is in L.A., I'm in NYC. Who is actually in Thailand?

kingdomcome obviously is, as is the guy with the Coney Island pic whose name I forget. I assume Umbuku and Bangkok Phil (who is really Stickman, btw) are also in Thailand. Phuketbound used to be, but I guess she'll be in Korea if she can figure out how to board an airplane.

Who else is in country? If you aren't in country, where are you?

i'm in a) in Thailand and b) Teachering here. a bit of an anomaly on this site for teachers in Thailand.

i'll follow Stamp's lead and say how long: 7 years, 3 teaching.

I remember at the train station in Phetchaburi we saw a bunch of nurses getting off of work at the hospital walking near the station and drinking iced drinks while high school students were sitting around, talking and laughing. It looked really idyllic, but also very poor. An incredibly melancholic, bittersweet, fascinating place.

i've been back and forth between thailand and veet nam for now 7.5 year. i prefer bangkok but here i can make money. i have never been legal.

it's not a rebel thing, i just have no quals.

but people like me dammit, and i always have a plum job.
