Troll or just socially awkward/sociopath?
maybe a socially awkward troll
fred
He needs to learn some manners at the very least!
None of the above.
He's not a troll, or a sociopath, nor is he (I guess) socially awkward.
He does however, state some uncomfortable things that give rise to lively debate.
A little like Peter Hitchens I suppose.
"Take this, brother; may it serve you well."
But is he bolder and clumsier than Thinkingofasexchange?
You are entitled to your opinion, KC and I respect that, but I don't think he is boastful (particularly).
I thought the Hitchens reference was apt insofar as I violently disagree with his views on many things, but it would be a sad day for me if I lost the opportunity to do that.
Back to defining a troll for me.
I have called called a troll.Boring too!
“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”

Yeah, well, Russ - by any definition you are not a troll.

^yeah I agree, by definition of taking yourself seriously, you cannot be a troll. He is guilty of many things, not least being an egotistical twat, but no, he ain't a troll. Serious folks tend not to troll. I don't think trolls do it because they are serious.
He likes Motown.
Troll fail.
