So tempted to make some comments on this thread, but watching Ajarn members feed on their own is more fun.

Dammit kc, you know I have my own Airstream and I've been hitched to the same woman for years now. And she's only my 2nd cousin...so we are legal in all states.

But seriously, two points...

1. You seem overly fixated on age.

Some guys fuck their first women at 13...and die at 60.

Others get laid first time in their late 20's, have kids in their 30's/40's and are deaded at 95.

There are stages of development but they are not SO fixed and things are arguably subject to interpretation.[Start of second point!}

For example, I sponsored my first wife to Canada and told her to find a job. It would have been some menial thing where she would have been like $1400 a month. I told her that she could keep $2-400 of it for herself, and the rest got tossed into the family pot.

You know what this bitch had the nerve to say?

"You're using meeee. You just married me to bring me to Canada to work for yoooou. You're a baaad man..."



I had to explain to her that (a) she was a dumb cunt (b) whatever she chipped in could not even come close to what I had already paid to marry her, sponsor her, and what her (and her kids) share of living costs would be.

In addition, I had to explain to her about men....who is "good"..."fair"....and..."bad".

Firstly, there are no "good" men...only STUPID men. The best a woman can reasonably expect from a REAL man is a man who pays his share, supports and protects his family (to the best of his abilities) and is a decent fella. A truly bad man is the one on the other extreme; the one who mooches and "lives" off his woman...and may even go so far as to PIMP HER ASS OUT.

Agreed, that is a "bad man". And if I'm not selling your ass...don't dare call me a bad man...BITCH!

But seriously, I think alot of things depend on context and perspective. And most people totally lack perspective nowadays...

Jesus probably was a historical person (he's mentioned very briefly by non-Christian, non-Jewish historians in Rome). To what extent the stories of the NT happened--we don't know.

But from the sermons, I think it's likely that Jesus was the sort of dirty hippie street beggar type preaching love and harmony. Is that a loser?
